Tournament rules and Information: 

  • Pitching limitations per day: 2 innings per game and 6 innings per day (pitching any portion of an inning constitutes a full inning)
  • Infield fly rule and drop 3rd strike rule's are in effect, and no balks will be called.
  • Stealing/ leading off:  When the pitcher released the ball. One warning per team/game, then the runner will be called out.
  • Base distance is 75', Pitching Distance is 52',
  • Batting order is continuous with all players
  • All players must be scheduled to play 4 innings of a 6 inning game in the field, with at least 1 inning being on the infield.
  • Players must slide to avoid contact if there is a play at the base.  If contact is made without sliding, base runner will be called out.
  • All teams must sign in one hour prior to start time for first game of the tournament.
  • On - Site Tournament director will be present at each field complex, as well as concessions.
  • Season rosters and tournament rosters must be supplied by Wednesday previous to the tournament.
  • Game ball provided by Burnsville Athletic Club In House Baseball.
  • Directions to both fields are included in your packet, and concessions will be open during all games.
  • Pool Play is on Saturday, with the top 8 teams advancing to the championship bracket(winners of each pool and next three highest teams based on tie breakers). Seeds 9-16 will advance to the consolation bracket. Seeds 17-20 will each play one game Sunday morning. Brackets will be seeded by head to head first, than fewest runs against, followed by runs scored, and then a coin flip should a tie still exist.

Burnsville In-House Baseball operates uner a "spirit of the game" philosophy and fair play requirment. Good sportsmanship is required by all participants.
